In the midst of the universe and its endless wars a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It’s an incredibly dark place, incomprehensible for the human mind. This area is run by The Four Ruinous Powers and continually seek to break their chains, and drown all of the world into a sea of corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess Tzeentch who is the changer of methods; and Khorne, the god of slaughter and blood.

Two kingdoms of great power guard the border between worlds: the Grand Cathay’s massive empire as well as Kislev’s fierce warriors. Each is plagued with their own struggles, and they both now have a reason to pass through the border and send armies to the Realm of Chaos.
