“Know by heart …” is an exercise in accepting loss. The narrative, the music along with the engaging gameplay and the atmospheric mini-games together to weave an illusion that one is able to relive childhood and inevitably growing up as well as the experience of the being able to feel the passing of time.

Misha is the main protagonist. He’s trapped by a routine job that never ends. When one day, he is shocked to find his former crush returned to the town. Misha finds hope in escaping from his daily routine for the first time since his teenage years. The story of an old collection of old friends getting together are interspersed into one brief but highly turbulent moment in the city’s routine living. It’s their job to traverse the memory trails and reconnect with their friends however their memories from the past and their very bonds between them become threatened…

Ayrat Zakirov, Ice-Pick Lodge’s CEO, is the director of this nostalgic venture. Events of the game will unfold within the Russian province. After a long absence, Misha is set to reconnect with his childhood friends. As they reunite, they’ll revisit their past memories, find the common ground and renew their bonds. However, this joyful reunion will soon be ruined due to an event that is beyond their control.
